10 October 2011

At  the weekend there was "Tbilisoba" - a city feast, generally a festival around average everyday life. The music wasn't great, but the food (unfortunately, I don't remember most of the names) beverages and company were superb. Sometimes you could see people in traditional Georgian outfits. Today I went to some Iranian travel office, to check if I can expect any help from them in applying for a visa. When I asked about the price I heard "how much do you want?" The guy said it's not about money, he will have a friend in Australia (oficially I'm  an Australian, and as there's an Israeli stamp in my Polish passport so I cannot confess to be Polish). He says that the visa is not a problem, I can get it quickly, because the consul is his friend. A little bit discouraging is, that we just need to go together to the embassy (and on the way I'll have to play an Australian -and I haven't been there for almost 20 years after all...). Overall,  I hoped that it would take a little longer, I expected that I wouldn't  have to be leaving that soon... I think I'll wait with this trip to the embassy.
