18 August 2011

Esfahan is an interesting city, I've seen a zoroastrian temple and fire inside which is said to be burning for 900 years. In general, tourists don't have to pay for buses here (within the city) and sometimes people try to leave the seat for me;) On the other hand the religious right is here officially or orders. It's time of Ramadan, so it's not allowed to eat nor drink in public. My hosts 60yearold in-law for drinking water in his car was taken away his car for 2 days as. I haven't met a person happy with the political situation.
According to the plan, tomorrow I'm taking direction of Shiraz, later Yazd, but I'm considering a short "retreat".
