2 January 2012

I've spent a few days in Abastumani, a lovely village in Georgian province. New Years eve is celebrated here rather in families (vice versa as by us), so I've spent it in the Camillian community I live in. End of the year is encouraging to reflection, despite the fact, that it's a bit early to summarise. 10 months from the passed year I've spent "traveling". Am I the same person? What of it will remain, when the travel will finish? I think I'm a better person, I've experienced amazing hospitality and kindness, inspiring to follow. I'm also much more confident, also much more believing. The visited places, and the people I've met have widened my horisons, I'm observing the world from a different perspective, It's inspiring also to learn languages and to learn more about the world. In the meantime I'm waiting for the visa, on one hand I can't wait to get it, and continue travelling. On the other hand I'll be sad to leave this place, these people. And I'm a little bit concerned if I'' get the visa, however I am looking forward with optymism. When I was starting my travel I though "what's it going to be like". Now I'm certain, I'll make it.
