Shiraz. A few days ago I received an Indian visa, today I've extended my Iranian visa (which happened to expire 2 days ago). Now I just need a boat to India (through Oman?). Lately I've attended a local wedding, actually everything was quite normal, only the women were celebrating separately (at least there was no obligation of dancing: D). Many websites are blocked, can't even send an email. It's because of the passing 33rd anniversary of the Muslim revolution -most likely to make communication difficult for eventual contestations of its achievements. These are significant: 65% population depressed, 6 mln addicted, 13000 kidneys sold yearly, 40% marriages ends in a divorce. It's hard for me to verify the credibility of these data, but indeed, people seem to be sad here, and they very often long for going away, or running away. I don't think the war will break out very quickly, interesting that the dollar price is experiencing big variations(40%-100% above the nominal price), what might mean that people are collecting cash in case of running away...
