Ernakulam/Kochin. On the way I dropped by on Varkalla, later "amrita puri ashram". I'm sleeping at a locals guy house, he borrowed me one of his houses :) very friendly man. The mentioned ashram (monastery?) was an interesting encounter with the hindu religion. There are quite a few "westerners" and local, altogether it's said to be 2000 people, some -I would say- freaked out. I'm still shoked seeing the swastika on temples and houses. I'm also surprised by the popularity of the left-wing ideas, they explain me that some support Communistes, the others the Socialists...
