12th April 2012

Bangkok, however I was tempted to stay in Calcutta, but I had to leave the hostel I was staying in, and in other places the accomodation was too costly. So finally I didn't have a choice, and the last night I spent in a park. I regret a bit not visiting the north of India, but I'm happy to get closer to my destination. How calm it is here! Noone uses the horn, people don't sleep on the streets, don't wash on the street, don't bother so much... Bangkok is modern, a huge contrast with Calcutta. Here I have a host from Couchsurfing, many foreigners, there's company.
In Calcutta I've met an interesting Frenchman who also was serving at the Sisters place. He walked from his home to Santiago de Compostela, Rome, Auschwitz, Jerusalem. A true pilgrim.
