One week in Sumatra, so far so good. We're on the outskirts of Padang, western Sumatra.. On our way we've been in the north, at the Toba Lake, beatifull. It's beatifull here, a bit similar to India, but better (less colourfull, but I still like it here more). The roads are also as bad as in India, and the traffic is slow. One day we're sunbathing in the back of a pick-up, another day we catch a ride with a harley rally. Today we've crossed the equator, it's cooler than I expected, and it rains more, it the first time I've put on a polar since I left Iran
:) Last 2 weekd we're often staying in churches, as well in Malaysia, as in Indonesia. Sometimes I feel like a star here (it's good I didn't become a football player;) people are showing "the white guy" and making many pictures. Knowledge of Indonesian is highly usefull, surpriusing how many words come from Enlglish in a former Dutch colony.
